This Research Symposium will be held Tuesday 15 August 2017 to report research findings from many of the research projects being conducted by the Atoifi Health Research Group in 2016/17. These projects include research about yaws and syphilis, tuberculosis, medicinal plants and local responses to skin diseases. Research partners from the UK and Australia will also attend.
The Symposium will be followed by a week-long research capacity building workshop facilitated by James Cook University in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, for researchers from across Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.
